Sideline is a tool people use all day to do their jobs. It should work with a keyboard, with a screen reader, at whatever text size and contrast someone needs. We aim for WCAG 2.1 Level AA as the standard to hold ourselves to.
Every control is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator. Interactive elements carry accessible names, so a screen reader announces what a button does rather than reading its icon. Status is never carried by color alone: a status flag pairs its color with an icon and a name, and priority pairs its with a word. Animation, including the list reordering, is turned off when the operating system reports a preference for reduced motion, and contrast is raised when it reports a preference for more.
Honestly: Sideline has not yet been through a formal third-party accessibility audit. We are not going to claim conformance we have not had tested. The practices above are real and applied throughout the product, and there are certainly gaps we have not found. When an audit happens, its findings and our remediation will be published here.
